Fortuna EP Medical Kit
Accidents happen every day — this kit is designed to respond to a wide range of common problems and keep you going. It fits in your pocket—even in a suit—and is small and light enough to never leave behind. With our EP kit, you will always be ready and able to care for your clients and your team.
Fortuna’s EP Medical Kit was designed by rescue professionals with decades of civilian rescue and tactical experience. It contains the highest quality components you need for everyday life and routine security operations.
Unlike most medical kits and IFAKs currently on the market, we pared everything down to the essential elements: manage life-threatening injuries and treat common complications in the gap between point of injury and definitive medical care. No bulky containers, no useless items, nothing extra to bulk up the “Number of Items Contained.”
The Fortuna EP Medical Kit comes in a custom-made, water resistant pouch designed for maximum usability with minimum weight and size. Each EP kit includes:
One tourniquet of your choice: Snakestaff ETQ Gen 2 or SWAT-T*
Basic Life Threat Control: Chest Seal, Combat Gauze, and Needle Decompression
Micro Scissors
Wound Cleaning
Wound Closing
Infection Control
Medications: Allergy and NSAID Pain Control
Professional Bandaging
Online education on best practices
Ongoing resupply support
*EP Model comes standard with a Snakestaff ETQ Gen 2 Tourniquet, which allows one-handed application and is more appropriate for tactical operations. The SWAT-T gives up this ability but has additional improvised uses that a windlass-style tourniquet does not offer.
The EP kit is:
- NOT intended to be a stand-alone medical kit for security or tactical operations. (Although multiple EP kits dispersed across a team provides significant capability).
- NOT a comprehensive medical kit for multi-day adventures or expeditions (… but this is coming soon!)
- NOT simply a traditional IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit). This kit addresses more than life threats—it can also treat many common injuries that iFAKs are not well equipped to handle. Whether treating friends and family or an ultra-high-net-worth client, our kits are less bulky, weigh less, and offer more utility that anything else on the market.
